What this test measures

Leadership is not one-size-fits-all. Effective leaders draw upon distinct behavioral styles depending on the situation, the maturity of their team, and the nature of the challenges they face. This assessment evaluates your tendencies across four foundational leadership dimensions: Directive, Participative, Delegative, and Transformational. Directive leadership emphasizes clear structure, explicit guidelines, and swift decision-making, which proves essential in crises or when precision is vital. Participative leadership prioritizes collaboration, team consensus, and shared decision-making, cultivating strong buy-in and trust. Delegative leadership grants high autonomy and ownership to capable team members, fostering independence and rapid innovation. Transformational leadership focuses on inspiring a shared vision, challenging the status quo, and developing individuals beyond their current capabilities. Understanding your primary and secondary leadership styles enables you to recognize your default instincts, identify potential blind spots, and intentionally adapt your approach to bring out the best in any team.
